Edmund Echukwu, 35, a Nigerian man who told his friend he was going for an evening Mass, instead attended a James Bond-themed sex party at a private £3m eight-bedroom mansion in Radlett, Hertfordshire;  has died after being submerged in a swimming pool at a sex party in Hertfordshire, southern England.

The father-of-three was said to have drowned after drinking whisky and jumping in a swimming pool during a James Bond-themed orgy.

Reports shows that trouble started when Edmund, who was a first-time swinger and shy person, suddenly grabbed a woman he was swimming with before diving under water at the £3million Radlett mansion which has been famous for its regular adult-themed parties for 19 years.

The woman, named only as Rachael in court, said she thought Edmund was just messing around and wriggled free from him.

The British tabloid reports that Edmund, who is from Edgware in Middlesex, was underwater for ten minutes before the alarm was raised by a fellow male party goer who reportedly warned guests by saying: “He’s been under too long”.

Edmund’s close friend, Anthony Okonkwo, who is still shocked by the social worker’s death, revealed that he (Edmund) had told him he was “going to evening Mass at church”.

Geoffrey Sullivan,senior coroner for Hertfordshire, according to, news, it has now ruled that there was no foul play in Edmund’s demise, according to him the Nigerian died by accident just after midnight and the cause of death was immersion and minor alcohol intoxication

An inquest into his death heard he suddenly grabbed the woman as he swam with her towards the deep end before going under the water.

The woman, referred to in court only by the name of Rachael, said that at first she thought it was just horseplay and she wriggled free.

The court heard there was some doubt as to whether Mr Echukwu - a Nigerian-born social worker from Edgware, Middlesex, could swim or not.

Furthermore, in response to the brutal kiling of Father Jaques Hamel, the Union of Federations of the Adventist Church in France (UFA) issued the following statement: 

"Faced with such a barbarity in a place of worship, the Seventh-day Adventist Church in France, wants to express solidarity and compassion.

When a (Catholic) Church is desecrated, it is the believers who are suffering. Churches and places of worship are spaces of peace, prayer, sharing and refuge. 

This escalation of brutality and heinous crimes committed by humans against other human is unjustifiable. 

Despite all legitimate feelings of sadness and revolt, we must always continue to fight evil with good, and act for peace. We pray that God may change our hearts and minds.

The Adventist Church encourages its members to respect the dignity of all men, according to the gospel of Jesus Christ."

On the 11 of June 2016, a woman who has being married for 16 years with 7 children who is a preacher in RCCG was found dead in a pool of her own blood with a copy of the Bible, a megaphone and a mobile phone. She was brutally murdered and hacked to death, with her throat was slit while her head rested on the Bible.

The first daughter of the late deaconess Olawale said her mother was killed just like a chicken.

Her husband who is also a Pastor of RCCG said " my wife always go out in the morning for 'morning cry'. This morning, she went around 5am while I was still in bed. 

Two of my boys who are footballers, came back from the field were they went to play and told me that they were told that some hoodlums butchered a woman who was preaching early this morning.

I went to the station with my children and when we got there, I found the lifeless body of my wife at the back of the police van, and from there she was taken to the mortuary.

Fr Jacques Hamel died a martyr’s death

The Church today is living in a time of saints, and of martyrs, and I suspect we shall see rather more of both in the coming weeks and years. Father Jacques Hamel was brutally murdered during a morning mass. He was 85 years old and has been retired for nearly a decade .         

“He could have retired at 75 years old, but he decided to stay and work, to continue to be of service to people, up until it all ended, tragically,”. Father Hamel was celebrating Mass on Tuesday morning when two men with knives entered the small church and slit his throat, an attack that horrified people across France and the world.

Parishioners said they were devastated by the murder. “My family have been here for 35 years and we have always known him,” said the manager of a beauty parlor down the road from the church.
Hamel was “very discreet”, said the woman, who came to know him when she took catechism classes with him as a young girl. “He did not like to put himself forward. He was someone who was very much appreciated in the local community.”

Another neighbor told the magazine: “This was a man who did his job to the very end. He was old, but always available for everyone. He was a good priest. He had been here for many years; he lived in the rectory here. Many parishioners knew him very well.”

Trouble : Death at Camber Sands five drown off coast

 

  

The five, all from Greater London, had traveled in a car belonging to Ravi, a student at the University of Brighton studying aeronautical engineering. One theory is they had been playing football on a sandbar and got cut off by a strong tide.

Camber Sands is known for its wide, flat beach and is understood to have a number of sand bars which can become cut off when the tide comes in.

Witness Hannah Chatfield described how she helped drag one of the men out of the water after the alarm was raised.

She said: "The first man was pulled out of the sea unconscious. Maybe 20 minutes later, a woman came over shouting, and saying there's more in there.

"Me and my boyfriend went to get him because the (emergency services) were with the first guy. We were on the beach for about 45 minutes trying to resuscitate him but it didn't work."The family were feeling angry that the stretch of beach had not been blocked off after a man died there last month, his sister said.

She added: “Now it’s been blocked. Why didn’t they do it before? They could have saved five other lives.”
Ravi’s brother Ajirthan, 19, said police came to their door at 11pm on Wednesday as his brother’s Golf GTI was one of the only vehicles left in the car park.
“Because of the incident, they were assuming that the five passengers of the car were the five people they found,” he said. “We were distraught, we were so disappointed. We were so upset. It took a while for the police to verify the exact people. Then, about four hours later, they confirmed it’s my brother and his four friends.”
He said the emergency services had told the family that Ken and Inthushan had got into difficulty first, getting trapped in quicksand or mud beneath the water, then his brother, Kobi Nathan and Kurushanth had tried to rescue them.
“Ken and Indu got stuck underneath the water,” he said. “What they did is the three boys tried to save them. The three boys went under water to try to save them.”
He said attempts failed and Kurushanth was brought out first and declared dead straight away.
“My bro and Kobi had heartbeats and managed to survive for a few minutes but after first aid they couldn’t recover.”
Both died within 15 minutes after being pulled from the water, he said.
The bodies of Ken Nathan and Sriskantharasa were discovered later that evening, he said, adding that he thought they had got their legs caught in the “slippery mud” and sand on the sea bottom.

A church near Camber Sands, in East Sussex, says that it is "grateful" for prayers after five people drowned off the coast.

A strong earthquake struck a mountainous stretch of central Italy early Wednesday, killing at least 241 people, trapping scores under debris and setting off tremors that awakened residents in Rome, nearly 100 miles to the southwest.

The earthquake, which had a preliminary magnitude of 6.2, struck at 3:36 a.m., about 6.5 miles southeast of the town of Norcia in the Umbria region, followed by about 200 aftershocks over the next several hours, including a 5.5 - magnitude at 4:33 a.m.

The authorities said the quake was comparable in intensity to one in 2009in the Abruzzo region of central Italy that killed more than 300 people.

Three British citizens were killed in the 6.2 magnitude earthquake, an official from Amatrice told the BBC.
The British Foreign Office did not immediately confirm the report, but Boris Johnson, the Foreign Secretary, has said a number of British nationals were affected.
"My deepest sympathies are with the Italian people and everyone affected by the terrible earthquake," said Johnson, who sent condolences to his Italian counterpart Paolo Gentiloni.
